At CURA Jewellery, we pride ourselves on using sustainable materials to create unique and beautiful pieces. All of our jewellery is carefully crafted by hand using 100% recycled HDPE plastic, gold and silver plated brass, and some silver earrings feature rhodium plated earring posts. Although HDPE plastic is a light and durable material, its smooth surface can be prone to scratches and scuffing if not handled with care. To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend storing it safely away from abrasive materials and objects.

Our gold plating process involves coating a thin layer of gold onto the surface of the jewellery through a process known as ‘flash plating’. To prolong the lifespan of your plated jewellery, we suggest avoiding contact with perfumes, oils, lotions, and chemicals. We recommend wearing your jewellery only after you have finished working with these substances, and removing it before exercising, swimming, or bathing.
